A beautiful Cornish elopement.
Ailsa and James chose to elope to the Cornish countryside and picked The Green as the venue to tie the knot.
Their ceremony, by the lake, was peaceful with only the background sounds of bird song and trickling water. It was filled with personal touches, including poems and readings which meant so much to them and had them both in tears as well as fits of laughter.
Ailsa wore a stunning lace dress and decided not to go for the traditional floral bouquet but a bunch of carrots grow in their garden back home. Her earrings were bright and beautiful, as I know their future together will be.
James, a carpenter, added a loving touch and had made Ailsa's wedding band from wood... it was impressive!
It was an absolute pleasure to not only be their photographer, but also be their witness. In the short amount of time I spent with them I became aware they're an amazing loving couple and I wish them all the best for the future.
